With the vast growing global population it is no longer feasible for people to visit heritage sites, as such visits put the sites at risk, leaving nothing preserved for future generations. Instead we provide them the virtual experience.
The documentation of such sites is also vitally important in the face of climate change and subsequent natural disasters.
We are faced with similar issues in the Tourism industry. In providing a full immersive experience underpinned by accurate Geospatial data, our clients can now offer a solution that can still allow them to provide the service, making it accessible to people that are limited and cannot travel far and wide.
OpEzee Africa uses ground survey, terrestrial, laser scanning and drone technologies to capture the physical environment and surroundings of each site.
Our experts then process the acquired data, through methods of photogrammetry to create a point cloud representation of the object/site to be documented. A mesh is created which represents the object surface and photographic texture and is applied to create a realistic environment. In the context of heritage documentation, three-dimensional models are metrically correct representations of the physical objects.
The Application and End client dictates the immersive platform we provide for the immersive experience on offer.
