Ronel has over 25+ years of experience in the industry. Having worked with global mapping agencies on various critical projects across the international domain inclusive of, The Ordnance Survey of Great Britain (OSGB), where she was key in the implementation of the OSGB accreditation process. The National mapping Agency of South Africa (NGI) where she was instrumental in the transition from analogue to digital methodologies and processes. The Centre of Geographic Information Systems (CGIS), Qatar, in facilitating and implementing the set-up of an on-site processing facility. Ronel brings the most innovative, comprehensive and yet simple approach to the business.
Ronel is a Certified Geomatics Professional GPrGISc (BA Hons Geomatics/BSc Geomatics/NQF level 8). Ronel is a registered member of SAGC ,the South African Geomatics council and of the Geo-Information Society of South Africa (GISSA) where she, until recently, also served on the Western Cape Committee of GISSA. Ronel is a qualified Project manager and is Registered Prince2 Practitioner (NQF7). Ronel continues to work closely with Academic Institutions in, researching new survey and immersive technologies.
